THE UNFOLDING PATH
Life is like a journey
one whose end you will never know
not until you die.
It is a journey of highs and lows,
corners, bends and bumps.
It has never been a straight road,
a slope
and neither a smooth sail.
It is full of mountains,
hills and valleys,
all of which we have to penetrate through
for we just don't have to stop moving.
In it we find thousands
and behind us
we leave millions.
Life is like the waters of a river.
They go forth and never back.
Whatever happens in life is irreversible.
The time that goes
never comes back.
The years that depart
go forever.
And it is inexorably inexplicable.
Why?
Only God knows.
Life is like clay.
You mold out of it
the best you can.
It is like a book
you write in it
what you want the public
to read about you.
And remember
life is a one-time guest,
when is gone
he is gone for good.
