ONE MINUTE TALK

One-Minute Talk

Gone are the days so old,
When I was treasured like gold—
Like a king beside his queen,
Living dreams, serene, unseen,
Until that moment... when all things changed.

It was just a one-minute talk,
That turned warm hearts into a walk—
A journey where we’d never meet,
Nor sit again and share our meat,
With that voice that once fit so sweet.

Now I’m but a hanging cloth,
Tossed in winds and heavy froth.
Like a flower that’s been plucked,
I’m lifeless, frozen, spirit-locked—
A wanderer lost in wooded frames,
Calling home with no known names.

It was just a one-minute talk,
That turned warm hearts into a walk—
A journey where we’d never meet,
Nor sit again and share our meat,
With that voice that once fit so sweet.

It was once a laugh—now cries.
You used me through your woven lies.
Your words, though long, were meaningless,
All that time was pointless, endless.
I must have been so blind to see,
How you made a fool of me.

But even ashes know the flame,
And broken hearts still carry names.
Though I was lost in your disguise,
I rise—through pain, through tears, through lies.
Not to return, but to begin—
A life reborn, beyond your sin.
